On November 8, 2016, more than 70% of Floridians voted #YesOn2 to pass the amendment legalizing medical marijuana. The landslide win was largely due to the efforts of Orlando attorney John Morgan and United for Care.

In 2014, we lost a battle by only 2%. This election, we won the war. John took up this cause because of his brother Tim who lives with pain on a daily basis. He kept fighting for the people he's met along the way.
The Supreme Court passed Amendment 2 (by) 4-3 in 2014. In 2016, they passed it (by) 7-0. We raised more money and campaigned harder all the way to the finish line. In the end, we had a record turnout and won by more than 70%.
Now, hundreds of thousands in Florida battling illness and pain will have legal access to medical marijuana. Congratulations Florida! Compassion is here.
