Our office is proud to have recently taken part in the Object to Hunger Campaign with Mid-South Food Bank. The office came together to collect 70,061 lbs of food as part of a campaign that provided a total of 29,426 meals to hungry families in the Memphis area.

This food collecting campaign was organized by Mid-South Food Bank, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization founded in 1981. Mid-South Food Bank’s Object to Hunger Campaign is a special drive for law firms and other legal organizations with the aim to collect as much food and money within a three-week period over the summer.

In addition to 70,061 lbs of food, our office helped to raise more than $2,000 for the cause. On top of donating canned goods, employees participated in Object to Hunger by paying $10 each to enjoy a casual Friday.

Morgan & Morgan’s contribution to the Object to Hunger Campaign is helping to feed the more than 22,000 people in Memphis, Northern Mississippi, Eastern Arkansas, and West Tennessee who rely on Mid-South Food Bank for food assistance. Our Memphis office feels strongly about their duty to help hungry families in the community.

“Hunger is a big problem in the Mid-South and Morgan & Morgan is happy to be able to participate in this campaign to help eradicate hunger in the Mid-South,” said Morgan & Morgan Managing Partner Bryan Smith.

We at Morgan & Morgan are dedicated to supporting our community. Object to Hunger is just one of the many campaigns that we have had the pleasure of working with. Our Memphis office will be participating in Design-A-Wish on Saturday, July 16, for the fifth year in a row.
