Ben Wilson is an attorney in the Morgan & Morgan office located in Jackson, Mississippi. Mr. Wilson earned his B.B.A. and his M.B.A. at Millsaps College prior to attending Mississippi College School of Law, where he earned his J.D. Mr. Wilson is Morgan and Morgan’s lead attorney for the firm’s Fire Litigation Group. He and his team represent individuals and families around the country that are injured or killed as a result of fires, explosions, and defective products or equipment. He has extensive knowledge and experience in litigation against property management companies, hotels, landlords, gas and electric companies, and manufacturers of fire safety equipment, smoke detectors/alarms, and fire suppression devices. Mr. Wilson was selected to serve on the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee for the NorCal Wildfire litigation he also represented victims of the Lime Rock wildfires and Merrimack Valley gas explosions that occurred in late 2018.

Mr. Wilson is a former member of the Charles Clark Chapter, American Inns of Court and has been recognized as a Mid-South Rising Star by Super Lawyers for six consecutive years. He is a recipient of the Young Lawyer of the Year award from the Mississippi Association for Justice and has also been recognized as a Top 40 Under 40 lawyer by the National Trial Lawyers. He received a Lifetime Achievement award from America’s Top 100 Attorneys and in 2018 he received Mississippi Business Journal’s Leadership in the Law award as one of Mississippi’s leading attorneys.
